Buddy Morrow was born on February 8, 1919 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA as Muni Zudekoff. He is known for his work on Skylarkin' Time (1950), Buddy Morrow and His Orchestra (1952) and Second Chorus (1940). He was married to Carol Morrow, Clare Eggleston and Lucille Ross. He died on September 27, 2010 in Maitland, Florida, USA.
He received the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Trombone Association.

He became a band-leader in 1945 covering for Jimmy Dorsey. He formed the Buddy Morrow Orchestra in 1947 until 1968 and played with the Tonight Show band in the 1960s when the show was based in New York City. He was conductor of the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra in 1977.

He served in the United States Navy from 1941 to 1944 and played with the Navy Band based in Staten Island, New York.

He won a scholarship to Juilliard School in New York City but left before graduation to pay professionally.

Son of Sophie and David Zudekoff of New Haven, Connecticut. He was the fifth of sixth children in a musical family. He played the trombone because the trumpet was taken already by another sibling.

He is survived by his third wife, Carol Morrow of Maitland, Florida; their daughter Sara Morrow of Los Angeles, California; a son, Peter Morrow of Hillsdale, New Jersey from his first marriage to Lucille Ross; a daughter, Catherine Morrow of Marietta, Georgia from his second marriage to Clare Eggleston; and three grandchildren.
