Developed the triple post (triangle) offense while at Kansas State University. Implemented the triple post as assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls. Won 9 NBA titles with the Bulls (6) and the Los Angeles Lakers (3). Retired in 2004 after 57 years in coaching. Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
