She rose to fame in popular singing competition Star in a Million in 2003 where she was a consistent top scorer but eventually ended up as runner-up to Erik Santos in January 2003.She was as well known for singing theme songs from ABS-CBN's Marina, Krystala, Kampanerang Kuba, Gulong ng Palad, Maria Flordeluna, Prinsesa ng Banyera and many more.
