Michael Rivkin grew up in New York City where at the tender age of 10 he got his first acting gig working with Willem Dafoe and Spalding Gray in The Wooster Group. At age 10, he worked with "The Wooster Group", an experimental theater company founded in the 70s in New York City. The group's members at the time were Spalding Gray, Willem Dafoe and Ron Vawter. The group went on to become one of the the most successful experimental theater groups in the world.

Formerly, a member of the comedy/rap duo Supafloss with Kirk Ward. Supafloss toured with Tenacious D, playing Madison Square Garden and other large venues.
