Maurice Kaufmann was born on June 29, 1927 in Gorleston, Norfolk, England as Maurice Harington Kaufmann. He was an actor, known for A Shot in the Dark (1964), Champion House (1967) and The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971). He was married to Honor Blackman. He died on September 21, 1997 in London, England.
Because of well documented health problems in the 80s and 90s Kaufman had to work as a understudy during that time.

Amicably divorced in 1975, Honor later helped nurse Maurice back to health when he suffered from cancer in the early 1990s. Sadly, the cancer returned and he died in 1997.

Had two children by actress Honor Blackman: daughter Lottie and son Barnaby. Blackman became a cult figure as "Pussy Galore" in the James Bond thriller Goldfinger (1964). She and Maurice appeared in one film together, Fright (1971).
