Matt Connor (born 1960 in Walsh Island, County Offaly) is an Irish retired sportsperson. He played Gaelic football with his local club Walsh Island and was a member of the Offaly senior inter-county team from 1978 until 1984 when a car accident resulted in his need to use a wheelchair. Despite his football career being tragically cut short at such a young age, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers ever to play the game.
