Leslie Perrins was born on October 7, 1901 in Moseley, Birmingham, England. He was an actor, known for The Triumph of Sherlock Holmes (1935), Nine Days a Queen (1936) and The Shadow of Mike Emerald (1936). He died on December 13, 1962 in Esher, Surrey, England.
RADA-trained, moustachioed British character actor, on stage from 1922. In films, usually typecast as charming, dapper cads and villains. Had a well-intoned, precise voice, which he used to great effect in radio drama after 1940.
