Lawrie Minson (13 September 1958 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an award-winning Australian guitarist, who has four times earned the Golden Guitar prize. Minson's career began by accompanying Buddy Williams; since then, he has toured with Lee Kernaghan, and accompanied Jimmy Barnes, Ross Wilson (Eagle Rock), Slim Dusty, James Blundell, Troy Cassar-Daley, and Matt Scullion.
Home-based at the internationally acclaimed Country Music Capital of Australia. Lawrie Minson has over thirty (30) years current experience. In addition to three previous CD's, Lawrie has released a new solo album "Loves Journey", in between rehearsals and gigs with the Lee Kernaghan Planet Country - Australian Tour & other appearances on both stage and screen. The track "Too Far Gone" is Lawrie Minson's first solo video clip on YouTube. The song was recorded at Fat Tracks Studio and was co-written with John Cunliffe from Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia.
