As a member of the children's chorus for the annual VARA 'Kinderen voor kinderen' show, a 14 year old Laura Vlasblom auditioned for an updated translation of Peter Pan (1953) and won the part of Wendy. Four days were planned for the dubbing session, but Laura finished in one and a half, starting off her career in voice-acting.
