Kim Poirier was born on February 6, 1980 in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada as Kim Jacinthe Poirier. She is an actress and producer, known for HypaSpace (2002), Drive-in Classics (2001) and Dawn of the Dead (2004).
She was close to being picked as one of the female leads of the show Breaker High (1997) when she was 15 but when they asked her to remove her tongue ring she refused and didn't get the role.

She got a role in the musical 'The Pirates of Penzance'. She auditioned with the song "I Could Have Danced All Night" from 'My Fair Lady'. However due to being too busy she had to drop out of the show.

She did a group class stage workshop with Tom Todoroff and it was her first time on stage. She said it has made her want to do some theater acting.
