Shot to fame as the singer of boy band "Echt" (German for "Real" or "Really") in the late 1990s. They became major stars in Germany and released three albums. The band dissolved when their third album and subsequent tour turned out to be a major flop. Frank produced a new album of his own which is still waiting for release. A possible return of "Echt" has also been hinted at on many occasions but remains in doubt.
