1Made her debut in "Aida" with the Metropolitan Opera Company at the age of eleven.
2On February 5, 1967, she was driving in Hollywood, California when her car collided head-on with Dirk Rambo's car. He was killed in the fire that resulted from the impact and his passenger Horace H. Hester, was seriously injured. A Los Angeles municipal court judge dismissed felony drunken driving and manslaughter charges against her two months later.
3Was seriously injured in a power boat accident in Feb. of 1959; was in the hospital for two and a half months.
