Julanne Johnston (May 1, 1900 – December 26, 1988) was an American silent film actress born in Indianapolis, Indiana.Johnston is known for being on William Randolph Hearst's yacht the Oneida during the weekend in November 1924 when film director and producer Thomas Ince later died of heart failure. She was also the female lead in the Douglas Fairbanks film The Thief of Bagdad, with Anna May Wong, that same year.She died in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, at the age of 88. Her remains were buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit.
Lived at the Hollywood Studio Club during 1920-21.

According to Kenneth Anger in "Hollywood Babylon" Julanne was one of the guests on William Randolph Hearst's yacht on November 15, 1924, with among others, Marion Davies, Charlie Chaplin, and Louella Parsons. The cruise was to celebrate the birthday of Thomas Ince, the director. But it ended badly for Ince who was taken "seriously ill" and later died.

Julanne stopped off at Grosse Pointe, Michigan, to visit friends while on her way to New York. She met her future husband there and that was the end of her film career.
