In 1990, Thomas garnered the character of Kevin Brady, the son of Greg Brady, on The Bradys, a spinoff of the 1970s TV show The Brady Bunch. In 1991, in the age of 10, he won the part of Randall William “Randy” Taylor to the television show Home Improvement. He stayed with Home Improvement well into his teen years, but left the show in 1998 to focus on academics. Thomas also appeared in three episodes of the sketch comedy show In Living Color. In 2005, he had a guest role in UPN’s high school detective play Veronica Mars and was likewise featured on The E! True Hollywood Story’s show on Home Improvement. On March 22, 2013, Thomas guest starred about the 2nd season finale of ABC’s Last Man Standing and when again in Season 3, Episode 4 on October 11, 2013, reuniting with Tim Allen, his TV dad from Home Improvement. During his run on Home Improvement, Thomas expressed the character of young Simba in The Lion King. His uncle is playwright/performer Jeff Weiss. Thomas is of Portuguese and Pennsylvania Dutch (German) roots. In 2000, he graduated with honors from Chaminade College Preparatory School in West Hills, California. In 2010, he graduated from the Columbia University School of General Studies. Thomas is a prolife activist. He’s been a vegetarian for much of his life.
