Jonathan Ke Quan Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Jonathan Luke Ke Huy Quan (Vietnamese: “Quan K Huy”;; produced: August 20, 1971) is a Vietnamese-born American actor. He’s famous for his appearances in the 1980s Steven Spielberg demonstrations of “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” and “The Goonies”.
Quan was born in Saigon, South Vietnam. He was made to depart his state when the Army of the Republic of Vietnam was conquered through the Fall of Saigon. His family was chosen for political asylum and emigrated to America. After being cast, his family changed his name to Ke Huy, the name where he’s credited in the picture. In 1986, he appeared in the Japanese film “Passengers” (Norimono) with the Japanese idol vocalist Honda Minako. He played Sam to the short lived TV series Together We Stand (1986–1987) and played Jasper Kwong in the situation comedy Head of the Course from 1989 to 1991. He last appeared onscreen in the 2002 Chinese film Second Time Around alongside Ekin Cheng and Cecilia Cheung. After high school, he graduated in the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. He afterwards attended the University of Manchester, in great britain. He’s fluent in Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. He was employed as a stunt choreographer for Xmen[4] and The One as the helper of well-known Hong Kong fight choreographer Corey Yuen.
In the scene in The Goonies (1985), where rocks are falling from the cave ceiling, he screams "Holy SH-I-T", spelling the expletive rather than saying it. He did this because his mother made him promise not to use any bad language in the movie.

His brother was the one actually auditioning for the role of Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984). Jonathan just followed his brother along, but the casting people decided to pick him instead.
So much for diversity in Hollywood.
