Johnny Sekka was born on July 21, 1934 in Dakar, Senegal as Lamine Sekka. He was an actor, known for The Message (1977), Babylon 5: The Gathering (1993) and Khartoum (1966). He was married to Cecilia Enger. He died on September 14, 2006 in Agua Dulce, California, USA.
Upon his 1952 arrival in Britain, he joined the RAF, serving for two years. He then trained at Rada for a year while paying his fees working in coffee bars in the evenings. After writing to George Devine, the Artistic Director of the English Stage Company at the Royal Court Theatre, he was hired as a stagehand.
