Phil Esposito was born on February 20, 1942 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada as Philip Anthony Esposito. He is an actor, known for Mystery, Alaska (1999), Broad Street Bullies (2010) and MSG Network: New York Rangers Hockey (1969). He has been married to Bridget Leigh since July 31, 1999.
In a ceremony retiring Esposito's #7, Raymond Bourque, who had been wearing #7, removed his jersey at center ice and presented it to Esposito. Under Bourque's jersey was another jersey with #77. Ironically, Esposito wore #77 while with the New York Rangers. [3 December 1987].
