2In a ceremony retiring Esposito's #7, Raymond Bourque, who had been wearing #7, removed his jersey at center ice and presented it to Esposito. Under Bourque's jersey was another jersey with #77. Ironically, Esposito wore #77 while with the New York Rangers. [3 December 1987].
3He was awarded the O.C. (Officer of the Order of Canada) on December 22, 1972 for his services to hockey.
