Jason W. Brown (born May 5, 1983 in Henderson, North Carolina) is a former American football center and current farmer. He played college football at North Carolina and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Despite earning a starting position for the Ravens and later earning a $37 million five-year contract with the St. Louis Rams in free agency, Brown walked away mid-contract to pursue his convictions to farm and reduce poverty in his native rural Louisburg, North Carolina.
