James Ray Thrash (born April 28, 1975) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 1997. He played college football at Missouri Southern State University.Thrash has also played for the Washington Redskins. He currently works on the Redskins' player development staff.

He also participated in an internship with the Loudoun County (VA) Sheriff's Department. As part of the internship he was able to accompany officers on rides, crime scene investigations and got to sit in on an autopsy.

He was the Redskins' Ed Block Courage Award recipient in 2000. Also was the teams Unsung Hero Award winner that year.
