Jacqueline Pirie (born 10 October 1975 in Stirling, Scotland) is a Scottish actress best known for appearing in ITV's popular soap operas Emmerdale, as Tina Dingle from 1994–1996.Pirie next appeared in Coronation Street in 1998 as factory machinist Linda Sykes. The storyline involving her character's relationship with Mike Baldwin won Best Storyline at The British Soap Awards in 2001. She left Coronation Street in 2001.Since 2004, Jacqueline has been teaching drama and running her own performing arts workshop, the "Jacqueline Chadwick Academy of Performing Arts". In 2005 she also contributed to an interview for Coronation Street: The Baldwin Family Album. In 2007 she set up a drama school in her hometown of Stirling. She opened one of her drama schools in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada, before moving it to Victoria, British Columbia, where she now resides.
Quit acting in 2002 to raise her son and daughter.

Children: Alex Pirie, fathered by Christopher Stone (born in April 1997) and James 'Jamie' Chadwick, fathered by Simon Chadwick (b. in Oct. 2001).

She fell pregnant when she was on Emmerdale so she quit to be a mum. Many years later, when she was on Coronation Street she quit that series too since she was pregnant again.
