Herman John Wedemeyer (May 20, 1924; Hilo, Hawaii – January 25, 1999; Honolulu, Hawaii) was an American actor, football player, and politician. He is best known for portraying 'Sergeant/Detective "Duke" Lukela' on the crime drama Hawaii Five-O (1972–1980).
Inducted into the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame in 2014 (inaugural class).

Herman is the older brother of Charlie Wedemeyer. Charlie, a former Michigan State football player, eventually (as head football coach at Los Gatos High School in California) gained fame when he continued to coach for many years, after being confined to a wheelchair from contracting Lou Gehrig's Disease. He is the subject of Quiet Victory: The Charlie Wedemeyer Story (1988).
