David Klein was born in December 1972. He is known for his work on Clerks (1994), Chasing Amy (1997) and Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008). He has been married to Marnie Shelton since November 24, 2001.
Member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) since 2009.

Filmed a short film in college with Scott Mosier called "Willam Black". The main character in this short was an early version of the Willam Black in both Clerks and Mallrats.
