Garry Frederick Holton Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Gary Frederick Holton (22 September 1952 – 25 October 1985) was an English singer-songwriter, musician and actor from London. He was the frontman of the band Heavy Metal Kids (1974–77), he worked with Casino Steel (1981–84), and played the part of Wayne in the UK television comedy Auf Wiedersehen, Pet (1983–85). Holton died from an overdose of morphine combined with alcohol in 1985.
His role as Wayne Winston Norris in "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" (1983) earned him critical acclaim, and as he had become amazingly close to his acting peers they decided it would be a crime to continue the show on a planned third outing without his presence. Upon the revival in 2002, Gary's character still remained part of the integral plot.
