Felicia Pearson (born May 18, 1980, in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American celebrity, writer, and rapper. She’s famous for playing a character of exactly the same name, Felicia “Snoop” Pearson, on “The Wire”. Pearson said her life turned around in the age of 18 when Arnold Loney, an area drug dealer who looked out for her and sent her cash in penitentiary, was shot and killed. While in prison, she earned her GED and was launched in 2000. She got a local occupation fabricating auto fenders, but was fired after just two weeks when her company learned she had a prison record. On March 10, 2011, Pearson was detained along with 60 others for alleged substance violations. The arrest was made over the course of a morning raid at her house in Baltimore following a five-month DEA operation. Refusing bond, Judge John Addison Howard reasoned: “Well, it is possible to alter your look, I Have viewed the episodes of The Wire where you appear. You seem quite different than you do here today, and I am not referring to the jumpsuit, I am talking about your general appearance.” Following a month in jail, Pearson was offered bond of $50,000 on April 8, 2011.
