Sheila Chandra (born 14 March 1965 in London) is a former English pop singer of Indian descent. In recent years, Burning Mouth Syndrome prevented her from singing or even speaking and forced her retirement from music in 2010.
In 1981, Sheila Chandra met Steve Coe in London and became the leader of his Asian fusion band Monsoon. (Steve Coe later became her husband) Monsoon had a UK Top Ten hit with their first single "Ever So Lonely" when Sheila was only 16.
