Dennis Letts was born on September 5, 1934 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. He was an actor, known for Cast Away (2000), Where the Heart Is (2000) and The Man in the Moon (1991). He was married to Billie Letts. He died on February 22, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was nominated for a 2007 Joseph Jefferson Award for Cameo Performance for "August: Osage County" at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois.
