David Arquette Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018

An associate of the Arquette performing family, he first became known throughout the mid-1990s after starring in several Hollywood movies, including the “Scream” series, “Wild Bill”, and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. He’s since had several television characters, including Jason Ventress on ABC’s “In Case of Emergency”.

Along with his performing career, Arquette took a short foray into professional wrestling in early 2000, competing for World Championship Wrestling (WCW). During his tenure (and mostly to promote his forthcoming movie “Ready to Rumble”), Arquette became a one time WCW World Heavyweight Champ, an approach that is mentioned by wrestling commentators as being critical to the degradation of the name as well as the death of WCW.

Arquette appeared in several films in the 1990s, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992), Airheads (1994), and Never Been Kissed (1999). Arquette arguably reached his biggest success in the horror/slasher film franchise Scream. It was during the filming of the very first movie in 1996 that he first met his future wife, Courteney Cox. The couple wed in 1999; collectively, they appeared in a 2003 ad for Coke and formed the production business Coquette (both a portmanteau of their last names as well as a word meaning a flirty girl), which has produced numerous movies and television series, including Daisy Does America, Dirt, and Cougar Town. Arquette guest starred alongside Cox on Cougar Town in 2012. Arquette appeared in the Sega video game ESPN NFL 2K5, expressing himself as a “star opponent” and manager of his own team, the Los Angeles Locos, in addition to appearing as an unlockable character in Season Mode. Arquette starred in the 2007 ABC comedy show In Case of Emergency, that was canceled after one season. Since that time, he’s appeared in the 2008 movie Hamlet 2, and reprises his character in Scream 4, again performing alongside Cox.[9] He appeared alongside his sister in the TV show Medium in January 2011. The movie started shooting in July 2011 in Canada. Arquette appeared on the 13th season of Dancing with the Stars, partnered with two time winner Kym Johnson. He was removed on November 1, 2011.

#Quote
1I'm trying to keep my personal life personal. It's very hard for me because I'm a very honest person.
2Kids today are smarter than we ever were. And they've got computers, too, which is awesome. They're scary to me.
3When you're just an actor, maybe not the top of the list guys, you get constant rejection and it's fun.
4I love when you go to a horror film with real horror fans and everybody's there watching, getting involved and screaming. That's when it's most alive and exciting for me.
5To get involved with a cause, you really have to become aware of it. You have to go on the ground and see with your own eyes, the people who have been affected by it, their process in how they're combating it, and what the organization represents.
6Yeah, I definitely wanted to do a kids' movie because I have a kid. I want to do things that my daughter can see soon - when she is old enough to know what a movie is.
7The first horror film I remember seeing in the theatre was Halloween and from the first scene when the kid puts on the mask and it is his POV, I was hooked.
8I don't know why I always end up talking about my relationships. I try not to.
9I seriously started drinking probably when I was about twelve. Kids are doing a lot of stuff very early.
10I'm not one to run around with different girls. I like someone that makes me feel good and that I can make feel good.
11I'm trying figuring out how to be the best person I can be. But it's been a process of trial and error.
12People that go through what I went through and people going through divorce, it's really a difficulty process; it's heartbreaking and it hurts really bad. It can really mess with your head.
13I don't want to lie. I dislike dishonesty. And I work in Hollywood, a town and a business that relies on a lot of falsehoods with people hiding behind different facades. I don't want to be a part of that.
14I like to mumble when I act, 'cause I think it's more realistic. For some reason, the impediment has given me the accent of a Mexican gangster.
15I know I probably offend some people. I have been talking a little too much so I'm trying not to talk as much.
16I love round people, I love skinny people. I love people in general; we've got to get past labels and stop being so critical about everything.
17I can relate more to people at a horror convention than I can to most Hollywood executives. They're more passionate.

17During a live televised event in Los Angeles, the WWF was "fighting" an invasion from WCW and ECW. Arqutte, Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins and Arnold Schwarzenegger were all in attendance at the event in one night. This is interesting for that fact that David was a former WCW talent, Billy was a loyal ECW supporter and Arnold had always been a WWF supporter. The WWF showed each one of them on screen. David got a huge laugh for wearing a mask and then ripping it off to show who he was.

22On a 2002 episode of WWE Raw (1993), he sat behind announcers Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross for the entire show while holding a sign reading "Former WCW Champion". He was there simply as a fan, and the announcers never acknowledged him.
