Darryl Glen Sittler (born September 18, 1950) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League from 1970 until 1985 for the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Philadelphia Flyers and the Detroit Red Wings. He was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1989.On February 7, 1976, Sittler set an NHL record that still stands for most points scored in one game. He recorded ten points (six goals, four assists) against the Boston Bruins.
Played center for the Toronto Maple Leafs (1970-1982), Philadelphia Flyers (1982-1984) and Detroit Red Wings (1984-1985).

Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1989.

In a game on 7 February 1976, he had two assists in the first period, three goals and two assists in the second and another hat trick in the third. The total of six goals and four assists set a league record for points in one game that had previously been held by Maurice "Rocket" Richard with eight.
