Dan McLeod (born 1943) is one of the founders and the present owner, publisher, and editor of the influential weekly newspaper, the Georgia Straight in Vancouver, Canada.Dan was born and raised in Vancouver. He graduated from Kitsilano High School and went on to study mathematics and meterorology at the University of British Columbia, where earned an Honours B.Sc degree in mathematics.
