2The actress Cilly Feindt was well-known as a circus artist in first place who filled the audience with enthusiasm with her horses. She gathered first artistic experiences at the circus Paul Busch. It followed appearances at the Wintergarten and at the Scala in Berlin.
3Immediately after the war she was signed on by the circus Althoff and it didn't last long and she also got an offer from the Ringling Brothers circus in the USA. With this circus she went on tour from 1948 to 1951 and appeared in the States and Canada. When her engagement ended she settled in Califorina and devoted to her horses.
4After a successful tour through South America she continued her film career. After that followed a tour through half of Europe and the USA.
5Because of her huge popularity she earned in the circus she was spotted for the film. She made her film debut in a movie with the fitting title "Die Zirkusprinzessin" (1925).
6Cilly Feindt was a first-rate equestrian, who could master any horse by the age of twelve. She first performed in public with the Circus Paul Busch and, subsequently, at the Wintergarten and the Scala Berlin. With her horses Nestor and Astor, she went on successful tours of South America and the United States, highlighting at Radio City Music Hall in New York. From 1925, she appeared in several German films, culminating in the Ufa production Ferien vom Ich (1934). After World War II, she performed again as a trick rider with Circus Althoff and with Ringling Brothers in the United States. She eventually established herself in California, having bought a house and stables in a suburb of Los Angeles.
