Charles Delaney (August 9, 1892 – August 31, 1959) was an American actor. He appeared in 94 films between 1913 and 1960.He was born in New York, New York and died in Hollywood, California. He was originally a motor mechanic and having learned to fly during World War I, he started doing flying vaudeville acts on his return to civilian life before entering pictures.
Prolific American supporting actor, a former car mechanic and World War I pilot. Before entering films full-time in 1922, he performed aerial stunts and worked on the vaudeville circuit. Delaney made the transition to sound and continued to make appearances, albeit in small roles, in films and on television until the late 1950's.
