Johnny Grant (May 9, 1923 – January 9, 2008) was an American radio personality and television producer who also served as the honorary mayor of Hollywood, in which capacity he was often present at Hollywood community functions, including the unveiling of new stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. An intersection just north of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue is designated "Johnny Grant Way."
Began working as a radio reporter in the early 1940s before joining the Army in WWII.

Moved to Hollywood after the war and appeared in a small role in The Babe Ruth Story (1948).

Worked extensively on radio doing celebrity interviews in the 1940s and 1950s in between small roles in films and TV. Later became a red-carpet greeter at award shows.

Worked long and hard as one of Hollywood's most loyal supporters, working with the Chamber of Commerce to preserve the landmark Hollywood sign and Walk of Fame.

His headquarters for years was the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where he died.
