Bokeem Woodbine (created April 13, 1973) is an American movie and television celebrity. He also appeared alongside Tamala Jones in a modest play/sci-fi film called Confessions as well as in a independent film titled The Champagne Gang (both in 2006). On the tiny screen, he could be viewed in an episode of Fox continuing crime-drama Bones and ABC shortlived cop drama The Evidence, in addition to two episodes of Spike TV program on the basis of the Marvel Comics character and popular film series, Blade: The Series. He also got a series regular, as Leon Cooley, an offender on death row, in the TNT crime/drama show Saving Grace, starring Academy Award–winner Holly Hunter in her first TV series. The show that premiered July 16, 2007 is rated TV-MA for language, sexuality, and violence. Meanwhile, he was seen as a guest on CBS legal drama starring James Woods, Shark, and NBC/USA Network’s offense/legal drama Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He also appeared in the TV advertisement for VisitLasVegas.com. Woodbine has finished his forthcoming movie, The Fifth Commandment, an action/adventure by director Jesse V. Johnson, and The Poker House, a play directed by Lori Petty. His 2010 pictures are Exodus of Charlie Wright, with Aidan Quinn and Andy Garcia, Little Murder, with Josh Lucas and Terrence Howard, Letting Go, as well as the supernatural thriller Demon. He’s also appeared as an officer on Southland (2011).
