Tad Mosel was born on May 1, 1922 in Steubenville, Ohio, USA as George Ault Mosel Jr. He was a writer and actor, known for All the Way Home (1971), The Adams Chronicles (1976) and Up the Down Staircase (1967). He died on August 24, 2008 in Concord, New Hampshire, USA.
His play "All the Way Home" won the 1961 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play was based on James Agee's posthumously published novel, "A Death in the Family", which won the 1958 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
