Janice "Jan" Pearson (born 12 April 1959, Wollaston, Worcestershire) is an English actress known for playing Karen Hollins in the BBC's daytime soap Doctors which she joined in February 2009. In 2010, Pearson won the award of 'Best On-Screen Partnership' for her role as Karen Hollins with Chris Walker.

Left Holby City because she felt that her character, Kath, had been through so much already that it would be silly for another 'big' storyline to focus on her. In addition to this, she felt that viewers may get bored if everything was happy for her.
