Agnes 'Brownie' Vernon (December 27, 1895 – February 21, 1948) was an American actress of the silent era. She appeared in 90 films between 1914 and 1921. She made a number of films in Australia, having been brought out there by Snowy Baker and E.J. Carroll.She was born in La Grande, Oregon and died in San Diego, California.
Attractive minor leading lady of the 1910's. Worked at Universal towards the end of her brief career in pictures.

Was brought to Australia by Australian athlete, actor and stuntman Reg 'Snowy' Baker as part of an attempt to start a Hollywood style film industry in Australia.
