Paul Vialar was born on September 18, 1898 in Saint-Denis, Seine-Saint-Denis, France. He was a writer, known for La cravache d'or (1969), The Sea Rose (1946) and Haut le vent (1942). He died on January 8, 1996 in Vaucresson, Hauts-de-Seine, France.
In 1960, he wrote the lyrics of the song "Les Étangs de Sologne" with the music by Henri Betti which was sung the same year by Jean Philippe in an episode of the TV show Toute la Chanson (1960).
